Granite as building material
Facades built with different varieties of stone
Granite can be defined as a crystalline rock, of magmatic origin, with good compressive strength and resistance to abrasive wear, and excellent environmental performance.
It is important to know that any natural stone can be classified, on the one hand, by its petrographic name, and on the other hand, by its trade name. The former is standardized and the latter is established by the manufacturer at its discretion according to the strategy it considers most appropriate for its product.
